After 5 years of employment as a hairdresser, he became a partner of his first salon at Hot Air Alberton City (Liberty Life). Paul is currently an ambassador for the Matrix brand. He travels internationally teaching the newest hair concepts and applications to stylists at hair conventions. His extensive experience and business acumen is also positively recognized and he trains business owners to develop the needed skills for salon management. Paul is part of the board of the EOHCB employer’s organization, and the board of the Bargaining Council. Paul is looking for ways to expand the Paul James brand into Kwa-Zulu Natal, specifically the Umhlanga area, where he owns a house and plans to move to permanently in the future.
